Our summer camp program is designed to provide a unique and immersive experience for young performers who have a love for singing, dancing, acting, community, and teamwork. Our mission is to allow young performers to be a part of a full-scale musical production while receiving quality theater education that will last a lifetime. With Louisiana-certified educators, a professional theater performance space, and live orchestration, performers will get a high-caliber performance experience right here in our local community.

Rehearsal Camp Days

• Rehearsals will be held at Body Expressions Center of Performing Arts: 619 Lafitte St. Mandeville, LA 70448

• Rehearsal camp dates: Monday, June 17th - Wednesday, July 3rd

• Drop-off: 9am each day

• Pick-up: 3pm each day

Tech Rehearsal & Performance Camp Days

• Tech Rehearsals & Performances will be held at the Fuhrmann Auditorium: 128 W. 23rd Ave. Covington, LA 70433

• Tech Rehearsal dates & times: Thursday, July 4th - Friday, July 5th (9am - 3pm)

• Performance dates & times: Friday, July 5th & Saturday, July 6th @ 7:30pm

• Call-time for performances: 5pm

Big Star / Little Star Program

Because of our mission to maintain a community focused program, we will keep a wide age range in order to implement the Big Star / Little Star Program. The Big Star / Little Star Program is a fraternity-style, mentorship program unique to the Star Theatre Group Summer Camp. Along with the stellar theatrical arts education that will come with mounting our production, Big Stars will be educated on leadership skills and the importance of being a supportive mentor while Little Stars will learn how to manage responsibility and how support circles can help lead to success.

**Elementary school students may be permitted to attend the camp, pending an interview/audition that determines if our camp would be a good fit for your child. If interested, please contact us!**

Willy Wonka Summer Camp Tuition:

Full Early-bird registration (Jan. 9th - Mar. 18th): $50 off!

• $450 total

Early-bird / 4 registration (Jan. 9th - Mar. 18th): $35 off!

• $465 total

• 4 payments of $116.25 (First payment is due upon registering)

Full Standard registration (Mar. 19th - May 31st): $25 off!

• $475 total

Standard / 4 registration (Mar. 19th - June 6th)

• $500 total

• 4 payments of $125 (First payment is due upon registering)

Full registration (June 1st - 7th)

• $500 total

**If a student is registered on June 7th, full tuition payment will be expected.**

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Requests

1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the camp administration.

2. Participants or their parents/guardians should provide detailed reasons for the cancellation, such as medical emergencies, family obligations, or unforeseen circumstances.

Refund Eligibility

1. The minimum 25% of tuition that is secured upon registering is non-refundable under any circumstances.

2. If paid in full, tuition refunds are eligible based on the following schedule:

• Early Cancellation (more than 30 days before the camp start date): 75% refund of the total tuition.

• Mid-Range Cancellation (15-29 days before the camp start date): 50% refund of the total tuition.

• Late Cancellation (less than 15 days before the camp start date): No refund.

Medical Emergency Exception

• In the case of a documented medical emergency, a partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• A medical professional's note may be required to qualify for this exception.
